WEDA Dammann & Westerkamp GmbH presents Nutrix+, a fully automatic liquid feeding system for suckling piglets. This innovative system is an automatic feeder that dispenses a wide variety of liquid feeds precisely and reliably. At the same time, Nutrix+ ensures optimal hygiene thanks to an advanced cleaning process that includes acid and alkali rinsing.
A sensor detects when the feed supply is running low and pumps the feed into the trough at an adjustable speed.
To meet these specific requirements, WEDA sought a pump capable of conveying feed while also allowing for cleaning with acids and alkalis.
The choice fell on a custom-made NIROSTAR impeller pump from ZUWA. The NIROSTAR, optimized for flow rate and pressure, ensures gentle conveyance of the feed. At the same time, the NIROSTAR stainless steel pump is resistant to approved cleaning agents. It is perfectly suited for the Nutrix+ suckling pig feeding system.
