… rising operating costs are prompting many plant operators to consider the efficiency of their machines. The infinitely variable speed control provided by a frequency converter allows the desired flow rate to be set precisely during filling and dosing. This can be done either via the keyboard on the device, via software using a cable connection, or NEW via an app using Bluetooth, conveniently from a smartphone or tablet.
Advantages of a frequency converter
/ Stepless speed adjustment
/ Easy changeover for clockwise and counterclockwise rotation
/ Integrated overload protection
/ High energy efficiency
/ Plug-in Bluetooth stick
Benefits of the app
/ Live display of speed and current
/ Wireless commissioning via Bluetooth
/ Clear error analysis with error history
/ Save, load, and send parameter settings
/ 100% compatible with PC software
Simply download the app for free from the App Store or Google Play Store, connect, and control your system with ease.
How does an impeller pump work?
The impeller wheel rotates in the eccentrically shaped housing, so that the curvature of the individual blades creates a vacuum and liquid is sucked into the vacuum. The medium itself serves as lubrication for the impeller in the housing. To prevent possible damage to the pump, every ZUWA impeller pump can be equipped with electronic dry-running protection.
1. Suction
On the suction side, the vanes relax. The space between them increases, creating a vacuum. The pump draws in liquid.
2. Conveying
When the wheel rotates, the impeller blades transport the liquid from the inlet to the outlet of the pump. Solids in the medium can also be transported between the blades.
3. Press
On the pressure side, the impeller blades are compressed, forcing the liquid out of the pump evenly.
UNISTAR
The universal pump for pumping clean or slightly contaminated liquids free of abrasive substances (i.e., neither abrasive nor corrosive).
COMBISTAR
The pump for all liquids that may contain abrasive substances. The affordable alternative to the NIROSTAR series. Perfectly suited for pumping abrasive or slightly corrosive media.
NIROSTAR
High-quality stainless steel pump with a wide range of applications in industry and plant engineering, perfectly suited for corrosive media.
ACOSTAR
PTFE impeller pump for chemical applications. It is perfectly suited for various process media as well as a wide range of acids, alkalis, viscous liquids, and solvents.
