One pump – In service for 30 years!
The phone call from Mr Denk from the company Unterfurtner Ges.m.b.H. in Braunau, Austria, requesting spare parts for his flexible impeller pump bought in 1980 was a nice surprise for our general manager Simon Mangelberger. Many spare parts are still, even 30 years later, available at ZUWA and the worn down flexible impeller could be replaced without any problems.
As Mr Denk explained to us, the flexible impeller pump has been used as an all-round pump by Unterfurtner Ges.m.b.H. The popular drill driven pump transferred many fluids within the metal processing field in these 30 years, constantly and without failure, regardless whether these were water, Diesel or different lubricants.
In exchange for a new version Mr Denk has given us his old model which now joins and completes our collection of ZUWA’s historical pumps.
