Flat suction is very popular because of its handy and versatile fields of applications to suck up water down to just a millimeter. Especially for swamped cellars or swimming pools which need to be emtpied flat suction pumps come to use.
In contrast to common flat sucking pumps, ZUWA flat suction sets regularly come with suction pads or suction mats which make sure, that liquids are sucked up nearly completely. The remaing liquid can be removed easily with a mop.

As already mentioned the main fields of application for flat sucking technique are cellars and pools, but these products are also used at construction sites to drain areas after rain, floods, water damages or to remove oil, e.g. after car accidents.

Our oil suction set as well as the flat suction set for the fire brigade are equipped with oil resistant hoses in order to remove oil after accidents or in professional workshops. It reduces the risk of environmental pollution and further accidents and minimizes the needed binder for oil.

The rugged and flesible rubber mats adhere to the ground and therefore maximize the suction effect on little amounts on water which are "hiding" in uneven ground. Thanks to the flow channels at the bottom side liquids can be sucked up down to 1 mm.
slightly polluted water? no problem!
For applications with slightly polluted water we offer our flat suction sets with our COMBISTAR 2000-B flexible impeller pump. The housing is made from stainless steel and very resistant to abrasion and dirt.

For optimal stability and easy handling our flexible impeller pumps are mounted to a frame with carrying handle. Also included there are three 3 m hoses with GEKA coupling to extend either the suction or the delivery hose to 6 m length.
