In addition to the commonly used submersible pumps in the field of dirt water pumps, we alternatively offer self-priming centrifugal pumps with an open impeller.
The pumps must be primed for the first operation in the application, but is thereafter self-priming in case the pump needs to be stopped for a period of time and then re-started.
No connections included in the scope of delivery - but are available as option!
As an example, if the fluid to be pumped is not located deep in a pit, then a surface type centrifugal pump can be used. With a maximum suction of 8 meters, the open impeller pump can pull wastewater and other fluids with solids from pits, tanks, and other collection points. When finished, the pump can easily be transported to another location, or put away for storage until the next use.
The open impeller pumps are available in 230 V and 400 V as standard. Petrol or diesel engine drives are available upon request.
The electric drives are classified in accordance to protection class IP55 i.e. protected against dust and water projected by a nozzle from any direction.
